“I first fell in love with the sound of his voice…”

Tucker and Grace met on Mutual, an online dating app designed to help young adults of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to meet and mingle. At the time, Grace was working outside of Nashville, TN and Tucker in Statesboro, GA. For Grace, “there was something different about his profile that caught my attention.” For Tucker, “She reminded me of home.“

They matched on the app and started sending voice memos to each other, which quickly turned into phone calls, then video calls, and ultimately meeting in person. Though the first date was a bit awkward (as all first dates go lol), they grew in love and developed a deep bond. The couple found that they not only enjoyed similar personality traits, values, and beliefs, but also shared experiences and dreams for the future.

Grace reminisces, "I first fell in love with the sound of his voice, but now, Tucker has become the love of my life and very best friend. I can't imagine life without him." Tucker recollects, "I felt that I was in the presence of an angel, but now, I know that I am. Grace is to me like salt is to French fries: she's my complement and brings out the best in me!"
